Endodontic Treatment
Inside each tooth is a space called the pulp, which contains soft tissue and nerves and extends down to the root of the tooth.
When this pulp becomes exposed or infected due to deep decay or tooth damage, severe pain can occur.
At this stage, rather than extracting the tooth, the infected pulp can be removed to restore the tooth’s function.
This treatment is called root canal treatment, or more precisely, endodontic treatment.
